Hannah Aldridge is a well-established singer-songwriter both within and outside the US borders.
With five albums under her belt, Hannah Aldridge is on tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her Razorwire album. It's an album full of songs about growing up in the Deep South, breaking with the norms and trying to create your own identity.
Hannah's music ranges from Americana to more raw, hypnotic and sometimes electronic stylings of what could be called 'noir indie pop'. With a charming mix of power and vulnerability, Hannah delivers her stories with the conviction of a church bell ringing out through the streets of a small Alabama town.
Joining the tour is Katie Bates all the way from Melbourne Australia. Katie Bates plays catchy raw-energy Americana influenced by artists such as PJ Harvey and Garbage. Katie Bates has opened for i.e. Americana singer-songwriter Eilen Jewell. When she is not playing in her own band, she is a touring bass player for, among others, Hannah Aldridge, Catherine Britt, Lachlan Bryan and the Wilders.
