Beyond the Barricade from Norway play music built on a foundation of modern metalcore, with inspirations like Parkway Drive, Between the Buried and Me, and Architects. The band was originally named Revelation Kills and was founded in 2008 while the guitarist Vincent Older was still a teenager. After a series of concerts and festivals in and around Oslo as the lineup gradually changed, and at the end of 2014 the band had found its last member and the name was changed to Beyond the Barricade. The band has always had a focus on live gigs and joined a tour in the summer of 2015 with ATENA, Shot At Dawn, and Kings & Deadweight before the songs were finalised. Eventually, they got into Red Line studio and released their first EP “The Grey” in mid-2018.
