Kassin is a hugely influential Brazilian producer and musician. He has been (or still is) a member of The +2's (along with Moreno Veloso and Domenico Lancelotti), Orqestra Imperial, Cometa; produced albums for Los Hermanos, Gal Costa, Bebel Gilberto, Erasmo Carlos, On Filmore, Caetano Veloso, Vanessa da Mata and many others; scored soundtrack for Japanese anime series Michiko & Hatchin, made an album from the bleeps of a Gameboy, recorded LP with the mighty Mitch & Mitch and co-produced Gillies Peterson's Brazilian project “Sonzeira”. And there was much, much more.
His latest album “Relax” (released in 2018 via Luaka Bop) brings some beautiful tunes of relaxed anxiety to the world we live in. For the upcoming European tour his band will include Polish backwards music duo LXMP (Pedrinho Zabrodzki on keys and Macio Moretti on drums) and his long time bass-wizzard-collaborator Alberto Continentino directly from Rio de Janeiro.
