🥔🇵🇱 Another edition of Marta’s Polish Dinners is taking us to Podlasie and Mazury, two regions in north-eastern Poland known for hearty food, and plenty of comforting flavours.

This time, the star of the table is babka ziemniaczana, a traditional Polish potato pie packed with onion and tofu, baked until golden and then fried for an extra-crispy crust. 🥔✨

It is served with warm sour cabbage, tangy fermented cucumbers and homemade vegan śmietana (sour cream) for a proper Polish comfort-food feast. 🫙🥒

And because every good dinner deserves a sweet ending, dessert will be warm baked plums topped with a poppy-seed crumble, thyme and cinnamon, finished with a dollop of homemade vegan śmietana. 🍑🌿
