Cocktail Slippers + Soraia (US) // Last Train
“In full hosanna, The Cocktail Slippers sounds a lot like the Go-Go’s but with gats instead of L.A. cheer, and a mule kick in their high heels. It’s all retro action but written and detonated with the study and delight of modern rock & roll women in constant touch with their inner filly.” – David Fricke, Rolling Stone Magazine “Soraia is an extraordinary, exciting, ‘sure to make waves’ band who I love and admire.” - Joan Jett “Hardcharging….” - Billboard “You do not want to miss one of the greatest of the new bands! For those of you who think rock is dead - come have your faith renewed!” - Steven Van Zandt

Cocktail Slippers have made their mark as a force to be reckoned with on the rock scene, winning over audiences across the globe with their stadium-sized anthems and electrifying live shows.
Blending the raw energy of garage rock with the grandeur of ’70s rock—and a few well-placed nods to other eras—their music is impossible to resist for anyone with a love for rock’n’roll. Their influences are unmistakable, drawing from the likes of Black Sabbath, Blondie and Kiss, with a hint of The Go-Go`s for good measure.
Renowned for their high-octane performances, Cocktail Slippers embrace rock’s most iconic clichés with style and charisma, delivering them with the explosive energy of a five-piece powerhouse.
"Is Cocktail Slippers the best rock band in Norway right now? We’ve claimed so more than once lately," wrote Ballade when the band released their latest album.
In 2024, Cocktail Slippers toured both the West and East Coasts of the U.S., marking their third U.S. tour in just 18 months. They played in cities like Phoenix, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Portland, Providence, Boston, New Jersey, and New York, including a standout performance at SXSW in Austin, Texas. Back home in Norway, they supported TNT on their 2024 national tour, with explosive shows at Rockefeller, Tapperiet på Dahls, and Union Scene—earning rave reviews:
"What a band, what energy, and what an attitude!" – Norway Rock (5/6)
May 2025 will see Cocktail Slippers rocking the Underground Garage Cruise in Miami, sharing the stage with Social Distortion, The Hellacopters, L7, Rocket From The Crypt, X, Supersuckers, and more.
Then in June, they’ll bring their high-voltage show to Norway´s biggest music festival Tons of Rock at Ekebergsletta in Oslo.
Over the past two decades, Cocktail Slippers have been playlisted on radio stations across multiple continents, featured on numerous TV programs, and prominently showcased in the hit Netflix series Lilyhammer.
Cocktail Slippers have never been bound by genre or convention—they create the music they love, blending soaring vocal melodies with infectious guitar riffs. Their driving force has always been the sheer joy of making music and performing live. Their latest single, “Good Love”, from their upcoming album, has been hailed as “a classic knockout straight from the underground rock treasure chest.” – Mode Steinkjer, Dagsavisen.
