ICAN and ICAN Norway are very happy to announce the ICAN Act On It Forum in Oslo, 9-10 March 2023. You are invited, save the date!
The global movement against nuclear weapons is stronger than ever. States, cities, parliamentarians, civil society, survivors and people everywhere are being heard: nuclear weapons must be eliminated!
Now it is time for nuclear-weapon-complicit states to join the majority and act on their responsibility to create a world without nuclear weapons.
Join us in Oslo to echo the voices of the many demanding the end of these unlawful and inhumane weapons.
Some of the main themes at the forum include:
- The global movement working to abolish nuclear weapons
- The political narrative of nuclear weapons and disarmament in todays political climate
- The insecurity of nuclear deterrence
- Tools and strategies on how to get nuclear-weapon-complicit states to join the movement to end nuclear weapons
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The forum will be held at Sentralen in Oslo, Norway on the 9th and 10th of March 2023.
The 9th of March the mayor of Oslo will host a reception in Oslo City Hall in the evening. The 10th of March we will celebrate the end of the conference with a party in the evening.
TICKET INFORMATION
Early Bird Ordinary ticket: 420 NOK (Including 20 NOK ticket fee)
Student ticket: 260 NOK (Including 10 NOK ticket fee. Student ID must be shown at registration.)
