Dreaming of a prom noir/ urpremiere

In a house in Damstredet The Weird Sisters are preparing for their very first prom. The music of Edith Piaf and Roy Orbison accompanies Éloïse and Louise as they engage in bizarre beauty rituals and party games. Will they be able to put on their gowns and go outside, or will they remain in an endless loop at home?

This performance is part of Bibby and Barths explorations of drag and clowning in more intimate spaces. This project is part of a bigger project called "Press P for Persona - Prom Noir" created by Ann-Helen Schjølberg and Josh Spear, and co-produced by Voxlab. The full show will premiere in September.

Never seen us before?
Bibby & Barth are theatre makers who have been exploring the theatrical potential of drag since 2020. Since then, they have developed a rich theatrical universe around The Weird Sisters, with their own unique physicality and idiosyncratic way of interacting with their audience. The sisters speak french and broken english, as well as communicating nonverbally.

We have TWO shows: One at 18.30 and another at 20.45. They both last one hour, and we have a capacity of 20 people per show. The show will start precisely at the times mentioned, so meet up 15 minutes in advance.
