"I believe music is an universal language that connects us.”
Originating from Funen & Kenya, Emma is a Copenhagen based young reggae lead singer. She started singing reggae with her aunts Tina & Wendy as part of the group Chelang, a female vocal trio that still exists.
In 2020 Emma and Andreas Youngblood teamed up in a collaboration aiming on developing a new kind of fresh but tender reggae style. Out of that collab came: “One Day At A Time”, Emma’s Debut Release (E.TURN.A.T RECORDS 2020).
Lyrics of everyday life, contemporary issues, Love and Hate are amongst the themes processed by the songwriter.
These fruitful times of reggae and vibes will surely bring more Reggae & Dancehall from Emma Cherono.
