TOMÁS' slipper sin aller første EP, og feirer dette med en helaften på Hausmania, med support fra JEJUNE og GiFU. Velkommen!
TOMÁS er en artist, musikkprodusent og billedkunstner som startet sin reise ved å lage låter i et lite trehus på landsbygda i Norfolk.
Til tross for hans reserverte og stille persona, kan du forvente å høre en kraftfull utgytelse av følelser og fortellinger. Sanger som er kaleidoskopiske, og kan føre deg til introspeksjon, latter eller frigjøring når du danser til de hektiske, men samtidig kalkulerte rytmene. Reis gjennom sjangere som angstfylt postrock, krydret med elektroniske rariteter, til de myke synthene i hypnotiske popballader. Artistens stemme spenner fra forvrengte og eksplosive klimaks til myk, nærmest hviskende falsett. Dette er TOMÁS’ musikk: annerledes, uventet, merkelig og vakker.
JEJUNE
Det alternative rockebandet JEJUNE har siden de slapp sin første EP i 2021 utviklet en særegen stil som oscillerer mellom post-punk, collagepop, eurotrash, acid house og støyrock.
EPen “Modern Art” og debut-albumet Japanese Sportscar har fått hyppig spilletid på NRK P13 og P3. De siste årene har de hatt festivalturné på blant annet Skral, Træna, Mablis og Bergtatt, gjort seg bemerket på showcasefestivalene By:larm, Vill Vill Vest og Trondheim Calling, samt hatt omfattende klubbturnéer rundt om i Norge.

GiFU
GiFU er et Oslo-basert alternativt pop-band som ønsker å rive i følelsene dine! Med et ærlig og nysgjerrig uttrykk inspirert av blant annet Beach House, Alice Phoebe Lou og Big Thief inntar GiFU scenen med en unik og hypnotiserende stemning, som forsterkes av deres interaktive live visuals. GiFU beveger seg fra det skjøre til det mektige, med alt fra piano-baserte ballader der resten av bandet jobber med samples, feltopptak og lydlandskap, til foten-på-monitor rockelåter.

TOMÁS' debut EP release will be a celebration of the alternative music scene in Oslo. Welcome to an evening at Hausmania with support acts JEJUNE and GiFU.
TOMÁS’ music doesn’t fit in a box. He is a producer, singer and painter and cut his teeth by making music in a small wooden shed in the Norfolk countryside.
From his reserved and quiet demeanour, expect to hear a powerful outpouring of emotions and narratives expressed in song form. Songs that are kaleidoscopic, can push you to introspection, laughter or even abandon as you dance to its frenetic yet calculated beats.
Travel through the genres of angsty post rock, seasoned with electronic weirdness, to the soft synths of addictive pop ballads, you'll hear music ranging from leathery vocals belting distorted contortions, to gentle falsetto whispers.
This is TOMÁS’ music: different, unexpected, weird and beautiful. Listen, and decide for yourself.
JEJUNE
The alternative rock band JEJUNE has developed a unique style since releasing their first EP in 2021, oscillating between post-punk, collage pop, eurotrash, acid house, and noise rock.
Their EP Modern Art and debut album Japanese Sportscar have received frequent airplay on NRK P13 and P3. In recent years, they have toured festivals such as Skral, Træna, Mablis, and Bergtatt, stood out at showcase festivals like By:Larm, Vill Vill Vest, and Trondheim Calling, and also had extensive club tours across Norway.

GiFU
GiFU is an Oslo-based alternative pop band that aims to tear at your emotions! With an honest and curious expression inspired by acts like Beach House, Alice Phoebe Lou, and Big Thief, GiFU takes the stage with a unique and hypnotic atmosphere, enhanced by their interactive live visuals. The band moves from the delicate to the powerful, ranging from piano-driven ballads where the rest of the band works with samples, field recordings, and soundscapes, to foot-on-monitor rock tracks.
