Please note! This workshop is in English.
Natural dyeing is deeply fascinating and when dyeing, you are repeatedly amazed by nature's ability to create beautiful colors.
At this workshop you will get an introduction to natural dyeing, where you will learn about good dye plants and fibers. We will also talk about preparations for natural dyeing and finishing. And, of course we will be heating up the pots and creating our own beautiful yarns.
We will be dyeing several different bases in 2 different dye baths. At the end of the workshop, everyone will have at least 4 different colors to take home, a personal manual and knowledge to continue dyeing at home.
What to bring:
Wear practical clothes and bring a pair of rubber gloves, curiosity, a smile and something to keep your hands busy while waiting for the yarn in the dyepots.
Is there anything you must/can buy on the course:
Material costs of 195,- DKK (4x50g yarn prepared for dyeing, dye materials and personal manual) - it will be possible to purchase additional yarn if you wish to dye more.
Coffee/tea and a small snack are included in the price.
