Dive into the colourful world of intarsia knitting in this exciting workshop!
Perfect for beginners and experienced knitters alike, this session will teach you the fundamentals of intarsia, from managing multiple colours to creating smooth transitions in your work.
You’ll start on a project during the workshop, learning step by step how to bring your design to life. While you won’t finish the piece during the session, you’ll leave with all the skills and confidence you need to complete it at home.
Bring your favourite yarns and let’s explore the endless possibilities of intarsia together. Don’t wait – sign up now and add a splash of colour to your knitting.
Please bring:
- DK weight yarn in two colours. Once can be variegated, the other best be (semi)solid. The
yarn I use is 225 meter/246 yards per 100 grams
- 4.5 mm knitting needles or needles to obtain a gauge of 20 st x 26 rows on 10 x 10 cm
- Crochet hook
- Stitch markers
- Scissors
- Darning needle
- Cable needle
- Optional: Smooth waste yarn to use as a lifeline
