KW Folkekøkken: Indonesian Rendang & Pisang Goreng

Join us as our wonderful new volunteer chef, Teddy, takes us on a flavor journey to Indonesia. She’ll be serving up a soul-warming Rendang, a slow-cooked dish made with tender jackfruit and king oyster mushrooms, all simmered in a luscious coconut sauce infused with fragrant lemongrass, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves. 🌿🔥

Paired with golden fragrant turmeric rice (nasi kuning), spicy green beans and crisp, refreshing cucumbers. 😋

And just when you think it can’t get any better… dessert! ✨ We’re treating you to pisang goreng: sweet, crispy, golden fried bananas 🍌 that are absolutely irresistible.
