Over two days, we’ll explore different sides of dub. From the roots of dub in Jamaica, through reggae and sound system culture, to the more electronic sounds of dub techno and beyond. The weekend brings together DJs, musicians, artists and listeners for a shared experience of sound, food and conversation. There will be space to dance, listen, learn and simply spend time together.

Dub Bakery, Grounding Session and Nomadic Chai invites you to a weekend of dub, food, film, conversation and community at TAD Oslo.

We’re happy to welcome grad_u, founder of the Grayscale label, joining us from the international dub scene. His set will take us towards the deeper and more electronic side of dub.

We’re happy to welcome grad_u on Saturday, founder of the Grayscale label, joining us from the international dub scene. His set will take us towards the deeper electronic side of dub.

On Sunday, Selecta Harmony will take us through a vinyl selection exploring different corners of dub and reggae. He is also curating the film screening of Dub Echoes, a documentary by Bruno Natal exploring the history and influence of Jamaican dub and how its ideas travelled into different forms of electronic music.

Nomadic Chai will be curating a grounded and comfortable space Saturday and Sunday while serving their signature chai tea. Food by Roots & Culture and SEFI, with Jamaican BBQ & Soul food. EMR with fresh buns.
