Sungoose delivers progressive metal in an innovative format, enriched with improvisational elements.

The Norwegian band brings the saxophone into the progressive metal sphere exploring new

intersections between heavy riffs, odd time signatures, raw energy, and epic soundscapes — all in the

pursuit of creating the next iconic sound.

Their music draws inspiration from bands like Leprous, Opeth, and King Crimson, appealing both to

devoted metal fans and to those seeking a more exploratory, and innovative approach to rock music.

The lyrics delve into personal experiences, inner struggles, and human

relationships.

Known for their unique sound and energetic live performances, Sungoose creates an

unforgettable atmosphere on stage. In October 2024, they delivered a powerful live show

as the opening act for Agabas, which led to several shows.

In 2025, Sungoose released their debut EP, which received positive feedback both in Norway and internationally.
