Yannick Franck’s avant-dub project Mt Gemini merges influences from early ska, reggae, and rocksteady with unorthodox electroacoustic explorations. This singular approach creates a deconstructed homage to his favorite Jamaican tunes. Recently acclaimed at London's legendary Cafe Oto on the occasion of his UK debut, Mt Gemini's live AV performances offer a trance inducing blend of raw aural intensity, circonvoluted joy and hacked nostalgia. He has shared the bill with artists such as Drew McDowall, Ghost Dubs, Shit & Shine, and Nik Colk Void.
