Ottone Pesante is an instrumental, experimental trio. From their early works, they produced an inimitable and highly original sound characterized by the extensive and increasing use of electronics on the brass instruments and equally recognizable drumming with strong roots in both grindcore and rhythmic/timbral exploration.
The result is a varied, rich, and unique sound aimed at breaking many genre boundaries, allowing them to be appreciated by fans of brass bands and jazz, as well as in the experimental, avant-garde scenes, and even among metal and experimental rock enthusiasts.
