Jingyi is a guzheng performer passionate about creating moments of calm and connection through music. In a fast-paced world, I hope the sound of the guzheng can offer a gentle pause, like a soft rain that brings a moment of stillness and renewal.
Through the expressive voice of this traditional Chinese instrument, I hope to share both the beauty of the guzheng and a glimpse into Chinese musical culture. My repertoire brings together beloved Chinese pieces and familiar melodies from around the world, allowing the guzheng to move between tradition and the contemporary, and to speak across cultures in its own distinctive voice.

Hjørnet means “the corner” in Norwegian—a name that comes from our location on a street corner in Majorstuen, Oslo, and our idea of creating a small corner for people and ideas to come together.
